David L. John, Chairman and Principal Mr. John is recognized as one of the founders of wetland mitigation banking. In his capacity as founding partner, Mr. John provides innovative and entrepreneurial leadership in developing methodologies for enhancing and preserving natural resources. Mr. John is responsible for permitting, design and all aspects of environmental engineering for the company.
Mr. John’s professional and civic activities include membership to the American Society of Civil Engineers, the United States National Association of Environmental Professionals, the Florida Engineering Society, the Institute of Civil Engineers of Great Britain and the United States Society of Wetlands Scientists.
Mr. John is registered with the State of Florida, New Zealand, Great Britain and the European Community as a professional engineer. He as been awarded the title of European Engineer (Eur Ing) by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations. Additionally, he is a certified environmental professional with the National Association of Environmental Professionals and a professional wetland scientist with the United States Society of Wetland Scientists. Mr. John is also chairman/CEO of Miller Legg &Associates, Inc.

George I. Platt, General Counsel, Vice President and Principal George I. Platt, General Counsel and President of The Wetlandsbank Group and its affiliated companies, is also the Managing Partner of the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen, LLP. During the past thirty-three (33) years, Mr. Platt’s practice has focused on real estate development, land use, environmental issues, regulatory law and government related matters. He is one of the architects of modern mitigation banking in the United States and was a founder of Florida Wetlandsbank’s™ mitigation bank in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Mr. Platt has written and lectured extensively on mitigation banking.
Mr. Platt holds his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Juris Doctorate law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. Mr. Platt is a former County Commissioner in Broward County, Florida and has held numerous appointed positions including: Chairman of the Metropolitan Planning Organization, member of the South Florida Regional Planning Council, member of the Lower East Coast Water Supply Advisory Plan Committee, Chairman of the Florida Board of Community Colleges and Chairman of the Florida Atlantic University Foundation Board of Trustees. Stephen M. Collins, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Collins recently joined The Wetlandsbank Group in August 2006. In his new role, Steve will hold the responsibility for management and implementation of the company’s business plan.
Prior to joining TWG, Mr. Collins was a director and immediate past vice president of the National Mitigation Banking Association, affiliated with the FPL Group for twenty years. Starting there as a financial analyst, he eventually served as Asset Manager for its Florida Power & Light Co. subsidiary, where he developed and maintained all aspects of the real estate portfolio, including sales, diligence, entitlement, commercial leasing, licensing and mitigation banking.

Rob Miller, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Miller joined The Wetlandsbank Group in 1995. He is responsible for the daily management and administration of the Wetlandsbank Group construction and banking companies.
Mr. Miller is responsible for the project management and administration of the $13 million, 450 acre wetland mitigation bank in Pembroke Pines, Florida and the $33 million, 2778-acre Panther Island Mitigation Bank in Naples, Florida. Responsibilities at the sites include: master site planning and design; regulatory agency coordination and permitting; management of the design and construction team; supervision of all construction activities, sales, marketing, and development and implementation procedures for maintenance and monitoring in coordination with various regulatory agencies.
Mr. Miller is also responsible for the expansion of banking opportunities for The Wetlandsbank Group, including determining site feasibility, master site planning and design; regulatory agency coordination and permitting and management of the design team. rmiller@wetlandsbank.com

Michele Tedrick, Executive Administrator Michele Tedrick is a contributing member of The Wetlandsbank Group. team and its affiliated companies since August 2001. As Executive Administrator to the Partners, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Tedrick is responsible for all administrative work concerning contract coordination, client liaison, corporate marketing projects and human resources. Prior to joining the team Ms. Tedrick spent fifteen years with a data communications company handling all the administrative duties including contracts, marketing, accounting and managing personnel. Ms. Tedrick also worked eight years with a shopping center developer managing and training each bookkeeper and maintaining all administrative responsibilities in the home office as they related to each shopping center mtedrick@wetlandsbank.com
Anthony Lazzari, Controller As Controller, for The Wetlandsbank Group Mr. Lazzari is responsible for providing direction and leadership for the financial operations of the company; including but not limited to, A/R, A/P, J/C, cash management, budgeting, reporting and planning. He has the overall responsibility for the daily and monthly accounting operations which include month/year end close, and financial reporting package preparation.
Prior to joining The Wetlandsgroup Group, Mr. Lazzari worked for Florida Welding Fabricators & Erectors, Inc., one of Florida’s leading construction companies since 1973. In addition to the above responsibilities, Mr. Lazzari’s accomplishments included setting up job costs by project/subdivision/parcel and the variances in materials cost, labor, insurance / subcontractors/trucking, misc. Prepared WIP/percent of the completion reports and maintained the fixed assets and accumulated depreciation schedules. Robert D. Colvin, Project Superintendent Mr. Colvin has more than 13 years of experience in the South Florida area. He currently is the Project Superintendent for The Wetlandsbank Group. As such, he is responsible for aquatic and upland planting, in-field design layout, laser set up, as-built survey of muck and rock grades, sprinkler layout and operation, vegetative maintenance, licensed application of pesticide and herbicide, assistance in the overall site care, and equipment maintenance.
